Frequently Asked Questions

At Arya Aesthetics we invite you to get in touch with us about any questions or concerns that you may have in order to understand your cosmetic goals better. We offer you direct access to our pharmacist and aesthetic practitioner via instagram, facebook or WhatsApp where we would be more than happy to answer all your questions. You can also make an appointment for a free face-to-face consultation with our pharmacist.

What is a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber?

A PIP is a clinical pharmacist who has completed a degree in prescribing similar to other healthcare professionals such as physicians and dentists and have full prescribing capabilities in their field. They can work independently and specialize in any fields of medicine.

What is an Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner?

An advanced aesthetic practitioner is a medical practitioner such as nurse, doctor, dentist or pharmacist who have completed their training in non-surgical aesthetics by an established and known medical training academy and have the skills, knowledge and capabilities to treat your needs in the medical aesthetic industry.

Is receiving anti-wrinkle treatment or dermal fillers painful?

At Arya Aesthetics we believe that receiving cosmetic treatments should be a pleasurable experience.

We always use local anaesthetic creams alongside our thinnest needles (Invisible Needles) to make treatment almost a pain-free experience for our clients. Using the latest evidence based techniques combined with our experience will ensure that our clients are comfortable through out their treatment.

What to expect when receiving treatments?

Prior to your treatment the practitioner will remove all make up and clean the area with antibacterial solution. For legal reasons and for your reference, before and after pictures will be taken from the areas being treated. After your treatment the areas will be cleaned once again allowing you to return to work or home with no delay or downtime.

How long does it take to see results of my treatment?

Anti-Wrinkle treatments usually take anywhere between 3-7 days to show results but usually you can expect to see and feel the full effects of your treatment 10-14 days after the procedure.

Dermal filler results are immediate and you can expect to see the full benefits of these injectable treatments up to two weeks after your procedure. This is because it takes some time for some of the swelling to go down and for the hyaluronic acid to integrate into tissue settling in your lips or face.
