What are anti-wrinkle treatments?
Botulinum toxin commonly called Botox is used to target muscles in different parts of the face and smooth out wrinkles. It can also be used to contour different areas of the face and accentuate youthfulness in facial features. The toxin inhibits the signals in our muscles responsible for muscle contraction and therefore stops us from developing wrinkles, in time these wrinkles disappear, and the skin becomes more smooth and appears more rejuvenated and fresh.
- Botulinum toxin effects usually take place within the first week and fully develop within 14 days.
- Treatments usually last between 3-6 months depending on the individual and other metabolic factors.

Upper face

We can use anti-wrinkle treatment to correct lines and wrinkles around the nose called Bunny lines, correct excessive gum showing above teeth when smiling called gummy smiles, create a better-looking smile by targeting the corners of the mouth and rectifying a downturned smile which makes some people look sad or grumpy and finally gets rid of wrinkles and improve the shape and appearance of the chin area.
Neck/Platysmal Bands
Anti-wrinkle treatments can be used to prevent wrinkles from forming around the neck and lower jawline areas and help contour these areas and create a sharper-looking jawline.
